Familiarizing with the expanded maternity leave law and anti-sexual harassment workshop

To widen the knowledge of Bureau of Treasury’s participants on the emerging laws for women, Fame Leaders’ Academy conducted a one-day training on the key provisions and issues arising from the implementation of the Republic Act 11210 or much known as “Act Increasing the Maternity Leave Period to One hundred five (105) for female workers on December 06, 2019 at Palacio Del Gobernador, Manila City.

       The workshop also aimed to discuss other Women’s Health Acts such as Republic Act 7877 or the Anti-Sexual Harassment Law, Responsible Parenthood Reproductive Health Law and Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act, Milk Code.

Around 50 government male and female employees from different Department of Bureau of Treasury participated in the workshop. Mr. Alvin Cloyd Dakis, a Gender Specialist and also the FLA Head Faculty on Gender and Development spearheaded the workshop.
